How It’s Made:
I start with a solid clear glass rod, heating it into a molten ball before adding a small dot of color. A second molten rod forms the stem, fully encased in clear glass, and then I press the two balls together to shape the mushroom cap. Once removed from the rod, I flatten the back and apply a black background to make the mushroom pop, highlighting every intricate detail in the glass.
