How It’s Made:

I start by blowing a thin bubble of glass, then carefully pull individual colored strings to create the coral reef details, including coral branches, anemones, and tiny dots reminiscent of sand, entirely by hand. Once the design is complete, I heat and implode the piece into a solid marble, cut the tubing, and flip it to reveal the intricate “painted” designs. Finally, I remove excess clear glass to form a clean lens that magnifies the miniature reef, bringing every detail to life.
