This frit marble starts as a clear glass tube. I drop ground up glass into the tube, melt it in, then blow it out thin to create a layered base. Individual dots are placed in a geometric pattern and the glass is slowly condensed back down. As the layers come together, the dots stretch into individual honeycomb cells deep inside the marble. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Marble size: 29mm (1.1 inch) -This marble is signed and dated on the bottom (BAM 2021) -Comes with a 3D printed plastic stand. -Photos were taken with indoor led lights. -Made in Northern Wisconsin. -Glass marbles have been annealed in a digital kiln to strengthen and remove all stress in the glass.
