I made this pendant to capture the beauty of the borosilicate color palette in its purest form. Using only a couple colors of silver-striking glass that reveals the shifting tones as the light changes.
At its heart, I’ve encased a radiant opal beneath a dome of clear glass, amplifying every spark and glint from its depths. The outer form flows with organic curves, shaped naturally in the flame as the glass guides me, shifting and forming into its final shape.
Handblown with care and intention, this piece embodies how a few borosilicate color transform under the flame, flowing through ever-changing hues.
