First, I heat a clear glass rod and form it into a thick puck. Next, the hot puck is pressed into brass pins to create a dotted geometric pattern. Then, colored glass is layered over the dots, trapping tiny air bubbles inside. After that, I reheat the piece and allow it to slump, pulling the colors inward into a nebula-like implosion deep within the pendant. Finally, I coat the back with sparkled jet black glass to add contrast and depth. --------- ---------- ----------- -Size: 1.8 inches tall -This star nebula comes strung on a black cotton cord with adjustable slip knots so it can be worn long or short. -The back of this star pendant is signed and dated by me (BAM 2026) -Made with silver striking glass, this pendant interacts with light to reveal different shades. Its appearance can vary depending on the lighting, from bright sunlight to warm indoor light, highlighting new subtle nuances in the colors. Photos are taken with bright led lights. -Made in Wisconsin. -Pendants have been annealed in a digital kiln to strengthen and remove all stress in the glass.
