Beginning with a 19mm glass tube lined in delicate colored stripes, I pull it into an 8mm diameter, forming the stage for the twisting pattern. I heat small sections of the tube precisely with a pinpoint flame and twist them, cool them, and then twist the opposite way, building the signature layered wigwag design. Once the pattern is complete, I transform the decorated tube into a large hollow bubble, then combine it with a second translucent bubble and expand them together, shaping the final form into a hollow disk pendant that captures a dynamic, swirling movement in a solid, wearable form.
It feels like a tiny galaxy caught mid-twirl, every twist and fold frozen in glass yet somehow still in motion. I can’t help but get lost staring at the layered wigwags, like they’re quietly wriggling just beneath the surface, teasing your eyes.
